| Account Blocking: Section 1 |  |

If suspicious activity is observed on an account (logging in from various locations) and we feel your account password has been compromised, we will lock the account. Original owner has 2 weeks from compromise date before account is deleted.

| Account Deletion/Suspension: Section 2 | |
|
1. Account may be terminated/suspended due to inactivity (69 days of inactivity). Paid Member accounts are not subject to this rule as long as the account is in good standing. This also does not apply to 'original members'.
2. Account may be terminated/suspended for repeated abuse as defined below:
2a. constant posting of nude or graphic content.
2b. being excessively blocked by other users (25).
2c. for misrepresentation, i.e. wrong age, sex, locale, etc. (Misrepresentation can be corrected. It must be corrected as soon as the misrepresentation is identified or made and it must not be repeated or other misrepresentation made.) Age and/or Sex can be changed by leaving feedback.
2d. for creation of multiple accounts by the same user (Unless it is not deceptive and they are paid).
2e. sharing your password and/or allowing your account to be accessed by others.
2f. logging into another user's account or falsifying information to invade their privacy and/or alter their account (ie. reading mail, changing photos, editing profile, request deletion)
2g. if an account is/was created or used to bypass quotas, or suspension.
2h. if an account is/was created to effect any of the following. 'Acid or Not','Crush List', and 'Friends List'.
2i. if the account is/was created or used to bypass warnings produced by excessive blocks.
2j. if the account is used for spamming, mass mail,multiple messages of the same content sent from the same user, advertising, referrals, leads, recruiting, get rich quick schemes, death threats, flooding, prejudice statements, or harassing/harassment etc.
2k. for any other act or behavior that the CoA administrators deem grossly inappropriate.
2l. posting private information (ie. name, address, phone number, screennames, chat logs, email etc) of other member(s) and non-members, without their permission.
2m. Constant negativity, being here to cause trouble, out of control behavior, or dislike for the group(s) this site is about.
3. Account may be terminated/suspended if a system email notification bounces because the recipient's account is closed, or over quota, or if 'mail notification' is turned on and the email account used for the notification is closed or over quota.
Paid Member accounts are not subject to this rule as long as the account is in good standing. We will send you a notice if your email address has a problem, and it should be corrected immediately. If it is not, we will reset your password, forcing you to update the email address in order to login.
4. Account may be terminated/suspended if the account holder is accused of criminal acts that violate any Rule of Law governing the use of this site while interacting with this site or any of its other members or with the aid of this site or any of its members including but not limited to published abuse, libel, fraud, predation, or misrepresentation.
5. Account may be terminated/suspended due to the use of browser refresh, plug-ins, programs, refreshing frames, meta tags, or any webpage(s) to keep refreshing the site , so you can stay logged in, is forbidden.

| Images Posting & Rules: Section 3 | |

1. Image(s) posted may not contain nudity, real or simulated sex acts, adult toys, or anything grossly inappropriate. Remember people access this site who are under 18. We also advise against graphic content (dismemberment etc)
When in doubt, don't post it.
2. Posting an image(s) to link to other sites is not allowed, nor an image(s) on this site allowed to be linked on other sites (often referred to as Hot Linking).
3. Posting an image(s) which are property of someone else and/or protected by copyrights, without their permission.
4. Posting an image(s) by anyone under 18 that exposes themselves inappropriately.
5. As always please make sure your photo(s) are in compliance with US Code Title 18 Section 2256 & VA Code Titles 18.2 Section 372 (See Below)
6. Administrators reserve the right to modify or delete any account.
7. Posting private information about other user(s) is now allowed (via an image(s)).

| System Usage: Section 4 | |

Though we try to maintain a constant uptime, in life these things happen. Should the site be down for more than 6 hours all paid member accounts will be credited a 1 day extension to the membership.
This does not include downtime due to updates, upgrades, maintenance (which will be announced), or lockouts due to Terms of Service Violations, or lost password. This also does not include inaccessability due to abuse from your IP should abuse be observed.
We do our best to keep things running smooth. We do daily backups and we have a remote mirror which is updated 4 times a day.

Banners related to Children of Acid but not made by Children of Acid may be submitted to the owner of the copyright and trademark to be approved for usage outside of Children of Acid [contact].
Banners available for public use may appear in the future.
Logos in the 'Downloads' section may be used. They may be scaled to fit your computer screen. Logo may not be altered in any other way or used for any other purpose.

Title 18 - Section 2256. Definitions for chapter
For the purposes of this chapter, the term -
(1) 'minor' means any person under the age of eighteen years;
(2) 'sexually explicit conduct' means actual or simulated -
(A) sexual intercourse, including genital-genital,
oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between
persons of the same or opposite sex;
(B) bestiality;
(C) masturbation;
(D) sadistic or masochistic abuse; or
(E) lascivious exhibition of the genitals or pubic area of
any person;
(3) 'producing' means producing, directing, manufacturing,
issuing, publishing, or advertising;
(4) 'organization' means a person other than an individual;
(5) 'visual depiction' includes undeveloped film and
videotape, and data stored on computer disk or by electronic
means which is capable of conversion into a visual image;
(6) 'computer' has the meaning given that term in section
1030 of this title;
(7) 'custody or control' includes temporary supervision over
or responsibility for a minor whether legally or illegally
obtained;
(8) 'child pornography' means any visual depiction, including
any photograph, film, video, picture, or computer or
computer-generated image or picture, whether made or produced by
electronic, mechanical, or other means, of sexually explicit
conduct, where -
(A) the production of such visual depiction involves the use
of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct;
(B) such visual depiction is, or appears to be, of a minor
engaging in sexually explicit conduct;
(C) such visual depiction has been created, adapted, or
modified to appear that an identifiable minor is engaging in
sexually explicit conduct; or
(D) such visual depiction is advertised, promoted, presented,
described, or distributed in such a manner that conveys the
impression that the material is or contains a visual depiction
of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct; and
(9) 'identifiable minor' -
(A) means a person -
(i)(I) who was a minor at the time the visual depiction was
created, adapted, or modified; or
(II) whose image as a minor was used in creating, adapting,
or modifying the visual depiction; and
(ii) who is recognizable as an actual person by the
person's face, likeness, or other distinguishing
characteristic, such as a unique birthmark or other
recognizable feature; and
(B) shall not be construed to require proof of the actual
identity of the identifiable minor.

| Obscenity - VA Code Title 18.2 - Section 372 | |
| 18.2-372. "Obscene" defined.
The word "obscene" where it appears in this article shall mean that which, considered as a whole, has as its dominant theme or purpose an appeal to the prurient interest in sex, that is, a shameful or morbid interest in nudity, sexual conduct, sexual excitement, excretory functions or products thereof or sadomasochistic abuse, and which goes substantially beyond customary limits of candor in description or representation of such matters and which, taken as a whole, does not have serious literary, artistic, political or scientific value.

This gives existing users 1 week to read any changes made.

Though new users are immediately bound by the Terms of Service since they agree to them at the time of signup.
